Victron Energy Orion XS 12/12-70A DC-DC battery charger is a high-power, compact DC-DC charger for 12 V dual-battery systems. It converts energy from the starter battery or alternator and charges the auxiliary battery with an adjustable current of up to 70 A and continuous output power of up to 1000 W under optimal cooling conditions.

The Orion XS is designed for vehicles with conventional and intelligent Euro 5/6 alternators. Integrated engine-running detection prevents unwanted starter-battery discharge, while automatic buck-boost control maintains a stable, adjustable output voltage. The unit can operate either as a battery charger or as a regulated DC power supply.
