Victron Energy EasySolar-II 48/5000/70-50 MPPT 250/100 GX is an integrated energy system combining a powerful inverter/charger, SmartSolar MPPT solar charge controller and GX control device in one enclosure. The pre-wired and pre-configured design reduces installation wiring and simplifies the construction of photovoltaic, backup-power and energy-storage systems based on a 48 V battery bank.

The unit converts energy from a 48 V battery system into stable 230 V AC power, delivering up to 4000 W of continuous output at 25 °C and up to 9000 W of peak power. Its integrated MPPT controller accepts up to 5800 W of PV power and provides up to 100 A of charging current, while PowerControl and PowerAssist help make better use of limited grid or generator capacity.

Connectivity and control

The integrated GX device provides local control and system monitoring through a built-in 2 × 16-character display. EasySolar-II GX includes VE.Can, USB, Ethernet, VE.Direct and Wi-Fi interfaces, together with a VE.Bus port for parallel and three-phase operation, remote monitoring and integration with other Victron Energy equipment.

The unit supports remote on/off control, VRM Portal connectivity through a compatible GX configuration, ESS system operation and an optional external AC current sensor up to 100 A for self-consumption optimisation and grid-feed limitation.
