Victron Energy GX Tank 140 – 4-channel tank level monitoring module

Victron Energy GX Tank 140 is an expansion module for Victron GX system monitoring products, designed to read the level of up to four tanks. It supports tank senders with a 4–20 mA current output and senders with a 0–10 V voltage output, including a combination of both sensor types on the same unit.

The module connects to a Cerbo GX or another compatible GX device via USB, which also powers the GX Tank 140 itself. Tank levels can be viewed locally through the GX system, via Remote Console and remotely through the VRM Portal. Configurable averaging stabilises readings when fluid is moving, while out-of-range detection helps identify faulty sensors and wiring problems.

Connectivity and control

GX Tank 140 integrates with Victron GX devices such as the Cerbo GX. Configuration is carried out from the GX device menu or through Remote Console over LAN and VRM. Each channel can be assigned a sensor type, empty and full values, fluid type, name, VRM instance and averaging time.

When the relay is configured for tank-pump control, the tank level can automatically start and stop a pump according to the configured start and stop levels.
