Victron Energy Venus GX – communication centre for energy systems
Venus GX is a central communication and monitoring device for Victron Energy installations. It connects inverter/chargers, solar chargers, DC-DC chargers, batteries and other compatible components, providing a unified view of the system and coordinated operation between connected devices.
Using the local Remote Console, Ethernet or the built-in Wi-Fi connection, you can monitor live data and change settings. When connected to the internet, Venus GX sends system data to the Victron Remote Management Portal (VRM), enabling remote monitoring, notifications, diagnostics, remote configuration and firmware updates.
Key benefits
Centralised monitoring and control of connected Victron Energy components.
Remote access through the Victron Remote Management Portal and VRM App when an internet connection is available.
Built-in Ethernet and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi interfaces for local and internet communication.
Support for VE.Direct, VE.Bus, VE.Can and an additional CAN interface.
Two isolated VE.Direct ports for direct connection of compatible Victron devices.
Three configurable inputs for resistive tank level sensors.
Two temperature-sense inputs with required accessory ASS000001000.
Potential-free relay contact for controlling external loads or signalling.
Modbus-TCP and VRM JSON API support for integration with external systems.
Wide 8–70 V DC supply range for use in 12 V, 24 V and 48 V systems.
Applications
Venus GX is designed for centralised monitoring and control of Victron Energy systems in campervans and caravans, boats and yachts, professional vehicles, off-grid solar installations and stationary energy systems. It is suitable wherever remote status monitoring, data logging, alarm notifications and access to connected equipment settings are required.
