Victron Battery Monitor BMV-702 – precision battery monitor

Victron Energy Battery Monitor BMV-702 is a high-precision battery monitor that measures battery voltage and current, then calculates consumed amp-hours, state of charge and remaining time at the present load. The monitor uses the included 500 A / 50 mV shunt, installed between the battery and the electrical system.

The BMV-702 displays essential battery data on its integrated display and stores historical information such as deepest discharge and charge/discharge cycles. Its auxiliary input can monitor a second battery, the midpoint of a battery bank or battery temperature when used with the optional temperature sensor.

Connectivity and control

Measured values and settings can be accessed using the four buttons and display on the head unit. With the optional VE.Direct Bluetooth Smart dongle, the BMV-702 connects to the VictronConnect app on a smartphone or tablet. A VE.Direct to USB interface is required for USB connection.

When connected to a GX device such as Cerbo GX, battery data can be monitored locally or remotely through Victron VRM. The BMV-702 also supports VE.Smart Networking, allowing it to share battery voltage, current and temperature with compatible Victron devices. An optional temperature sensor is required for temperature measurement.
