Victron Energy Lynx Shunt VE.Can (M10) – 1000A intelligent shunt and battery monitor

Victron Energy Lynx Shunt VE.Can (M10) is an intelligent DC shunt rated for up to 1000 A continuous current, with an integrated battery monitor and space for the main system fuse. It forms part of the modular Lynx DC distribution system and accurately measures battery voltage, current, energy flow and state of charge.

Through VE.Can, the Lynx Shunt VE.Can connects to a GX device such as the Cerbo GX, allowing system measurements, operating status and alarms to be monitored. The M10 version is designed for Lynx configurations with M10 busbars and supports 12 V, 24 V and 48 V systems.

It is used as a central measuring and monitoring module between the battery bank and connected DC loads, inverters, chargers and distribution modules.

Connectivity and control

Lynx Shunt VE.Can transmits data to a compatible GX device through VE.Can. The GX device can display parameters including battery voltage, current, state of charge, temperature and alarms. Data can also be accessed through the VRM Portal when the GX system has an internet connection.

The alarm relay can be programmed from the GX device to open or close according to battery state of charge, voltage, battery temperature or a blown main fuse. The VE.Can interface can also be used for NMEA 2000 integration with a suitable Victron VE.Can to NMEA 2000 cable.
