Victron Energy Lynx Smart BMS 1000 (M10) is an advanced battery management system designed for Victron Lithium Smart batteries in 12 V, 24 V and 48 V systems. It combines a high-current 1000 A contactor, battery monitoring and protective control functions in one module that integrates directly into the modular Lynx Distribution system.

The Lynx Smart BMS monitors battery condition and controls the disconnection of loads and chargers when cell voltage or battery temperature reaches an unsafe level. A pre-alarm signal provides an early warning before loads are disconnected, while the integrated contactor acts as a fallback safety mechanism and a remotely controllable main system switch.

Key benefits

  • 1000 A continuous rating for the integrated main safety contactor.
  • Peak current capability of up to 1200 A for 5 minutes.
  • Supports 12 V, 24 V and 48 V systems.
  • Designed for Victron Lithium Smart LiFePO4 batteries.
  • Integrated battery monitor with state-of-charge indication and additional battery data.
  • Pre-alarm signal before shutdown caused by low cell voltage.
  • Controls loads and chargers through Load Disconnect and Charge Disconnect signals.
  • Integrated pre-charge function to limit inrush current.
  • Built-in Bluetooth for setup, monitoring and diagnostics through VictronConnect.
  • VE.Can interface for connection to Victron GX devices.
  • Compatible with the Lynx Distributor system, supporting up to 4 modules through RJ10 connections.
  • M10 busbar connections for high-current installation.

Applications

Suitable for medium and large 12 V, 24 V and 48 V lithium battery systems in campervans, caravans, yachts and boats, professional vehicles, off-grid solar installations and stationary energy systems. It is particularly well suited to systems using Victron MultiPlus or Quattro inverter/chargers, SmartSolar MPPT charge controllers and Victron GX devices.

Connectivity and control

Built-in Bluetooth enables configuration, monitoring and diagnostics through the VictronConnect app, including an at-a-glance view of key data with Instant Readout. Through VE.Can, the Lynx Smart BMS connects to Victron GX devices such as the Cerbo GX and Ekrano GX for local and remote monitoring. When a GX device is used, system data can also be accessed through the Victron VRM portal.

Compatible Victron chargers, inverter/chargers and other equipment can be controlled through DVCC. The BMS provides charge-disconnect and load-disconnect signals and opens the main contactor in critical conditions to isolate the battery from the DC system.
