Victron Main Battery Switch ON/OFF 275A

Victron Energy Battery Switch ON/OFF 275A – battery system isolator is a high-current mechanical switch for isolating a battery from DC loads and charging sources. It is suitable for battery systems up to 48 V and provides a continuous current rating of 275 A.

The switch can be surface mounted or rear-panel mounted, making it suitable for installation in campervans, caravans, boats, yachts, professional vehicles and stationary DC systems. Its ergonomic rotary knob can be removed in the OFF position to help prevent accidental operation during servicing or while the system is unattended.

Applications

Operation and safety

Turn the knob clockwise to switch ON and counter-clockwise to switch OFF. Once the OFF position is reached, the knob can be turned further and removed. With the knob removed, the switch remains OFF, helping prevent unintended operation during maintenance or while the installation is left unattended.

Engines, chargers and loads connected to the same DC circuit must be switched off before operating the battery switch. The switch is not intended to make or break current under load.

The switch is supplied with 16 interchangeable label stickers for identifying different circuits and applications. The design also includes four removable side panels for cable access.
